The President of Badagry Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACCIMA), Alhaji Fatai Shokunbi today in Badagry donated an SUV car to the chamber to enhance it productivity.
Mr Sewhude Akande, the Director of Communication, BACCIMA, disclosed this in a statement
According to Akande, the president officially handed over the car to the chamber on Monday, June 14, during an extraordinary Directors’ Meeting.
The President said that he hopes the vehicle would enhance the productivity of the chamber.
Shokunbi also used the opportunity to seek the continued support and contributions of officials and members for the progress of BACCIMA.
“I’m not doing this for any reward. It is an investment into our community that is expected to yield positive result for all our members and our region.
“It is my hope that the vehicle will be put to good use and help our chamber’s productivity.
“It is a call to service and I want us to join hands together to ensure that we sustain the Chamber for the growth of businesses and commerce in our region,” he said.
Receiving the car on behalf of the Chamber, the Deputy President of BACCIMA, Alhaji Yahaya Idris appreciated Shokunbi for his usual magnanimity and contributions to the growth and development of Commerce in Badagry.
