Daini wins Igbogbo Baiyeku chairmanship election
Mayokun Daini won Igbogbo Baiyeku elections with 2, 814.
The Returning Officer/Collation , Mr Olayiwola Salako, has declares Banjoko Adetutu, as the Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Government Development Area (LCDA) having scored highest votes of 2,814.
Salako made the disclosure in Ikorodu on Saturday saying that Daini had the highest vote of 2, 814.
The Returning Officer, said that Oluwatoyin Oyesanya, People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate had 478 voted, Youth Party (YP) 9.
He declared that Daini of APC the winner of Chairmanship election of Igbogbo Baiyeku word ,LCDA.
Salako said that Daini had completed with requirements of law and scored majority number of voted their affirmation was here by elected and returned.
The Returning Officer, Mr Oludamilola Okusanya declares Banjoko Adetutu, as the councilor for Ward A having scored highest votes of 472.
Okusanya said that at Ward A Abosan collation Centre for Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Government Community Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos on Saturday.
“”The total votes casted for Councillorship election in Ward A) 558. People Democratic Party (PDP) scored 85, All Progressive Congress (APC) scored 472, Youth Party 1 and void none.
“The total votes is casted for Chairmanship in Ward A) 560. People Democratic Party (PDP) scored 94, All Progressive Congress (APC) scored 464, Youth Party 2 and void 12.
“I declared that Banjoko Adetutu of APC is the winner of Councillorship election of Igbogbo Baiyeku word A,LCDA” Okusanya said.
He said that Banjoko had completed with requirements of law and scared majority number of voted their affirmation is here by elected and returned.
The APC candidate elect at Igbogbo Baiyeku LGDA, Daini Mayokun, said he appreciated the people in Igbogbo Baiyeku, who re-elected him and his vice to run for another four years.
He said that his emerged and victory calls for more task and was also confirmation that his people want more from him.
“I am prepared for another four years by the Grace of God Almighty because I know that I have to double my task as to fulfil my people expectations.
” My slogan for this just concluded election was “Let the Missions Continues” we intend to improve more on primary education in the area.
“We have built a standard Secretariat in making sure that we create conducive environment for staffs, we have done a lot in social economy development for allowing two banks Sterling and United Bank of Africa (UBA) to operate in Igbogbo for the first time.
” We have built many markets and we are continuing and also we are replacing outdated transformers in the area,”Daini said.
He said the himself and his Vice Chairman would ensuring that they build on the already laid foundation and people would enjoy more dividend of democracy.
Daini said that about four other banks had signified interest in coming to establish their branch in Igbogbo adding that community could not be developed without provisions for social and economic activities.
He commended the Lagos State Government for supporting them in adding value to their environment with the construction of the Igbogbo Stadium, roads and Health Centre
Daini said that they are equipping their health Centre from time to time adding that Igbogbo Baiyeku was also partnering with state government to have a befitting library in Igbogbo Baiyeku LGDA.
He, however, said that they would used the second term to partner with both Federal and State Government in ensuring his people enjoy dividend of democracy.
