A group of people under the aegis of Friends of Real Acts of Kindness (FoRAK) on Saturday donated food item to Hephzeba Orphanage Home in Ibereko, Badagry.
Speaking for FoRAK, Mr Wande Setonji popularly known as Desmond said the group had seen the vision and good works of Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, the Pioneer of RAK and key into it to help the vulnerable in the society.
“We are all aware that Mr. Ogunlende through his RAK foundation has been impacting positively in Badagry and Nigeria, so we Friends of RAK have come here to further complement his effort via support the orphanage home in our own little way.
“This is just the beginning, people should expect to see more from us before the end of this year,” he said.
Mr Augustine Kiki a member of FoRAK said RAK foundation has been known for supporting less privileged in the society.
“We are here today to assist the children in the home with our widow’s mite because we know the great task of the orphanage.
“We are doing this in the name of RAK foundation pioneer, Ogunlende because we believe in him and have key into his vision,” he said.
Kiki urged the people of Badagry to come and assist the home in order to sustain the children, adding that what they had done was to motivate others in Badagry and Lagos.
In the words of Mr. Solomon Zosu, he advise that “It is not when you have millions that you can assist the orphanage, nothing is small,”
He further said that FoRAK consist of transformational and responsive youths who have integrity and are worthwhile.
“In FoRAK we have working class teachers, environmentalist, musicians, and entrepreneurs including politicians who have not just benefitted but now emulating RAK Pioneer Ogunlende as role model. Said Zosu
Also speaking, Mr Abdul-Salam Ashade, the Executive Director, Green Janitor Sustainable Initiative, a Friend of RAK, said the Pioneer had helped and empowered many of them.
According to Ashade, by donating these food items, we are showing RAK Pioneer our gratitude.
“We are just emulating and complementing his efforts, we pray that God will continue to uplift him higher.
“We also pray that God will reward all the staff of Hephzeba Orphanage Home,” he said.
Another friend of RAK, Miss Oderinde Abigail (Olart) said that the food items brought by the group includes Rice, Noddles, Gari, Sugar, Milo, Golden Moore, Bread, Semovita and others.
Receiving the items on behalf of the home, Mrs Chinyere thanked FoRAK for coming to support the home with the food items.
“We really appreciate your coming today and we want you to extend our sincere appreciation to RAK foundation pioneer too.
“The children also appreciate you and pray that God will continue to enrich your pockets,” she said.
