The Maritime Worker’s Union of Nigeria (MWUN) today shut down operational activities at the APM Terminals, Apapa, Lagos Port, after three day warning strike over issues of poor remuneration of workers at the facilities
The President General, MWUN, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju and other top members of the Dockworkers Branch were at the forefront of the entry points of the terminals.
MWUN insisted that management of APM Terminals are taking Nigerian labour workers for a ride hence the need the demonstration.

As at the time of filing this report, APM.Terminals has been barricaded with workers instructed to stop operations and vacate the facilities immediately.
