Alhaja Kikelomo Ladipo, the Chairperson, Badagry Central Apex Women Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) said the APC presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu will develop the country beyond expectations if he wins 2023 presidential election.
Ladipo disclosed this during sensitization programme organised by Orient Badagry women on the need to vote and to be included in governance.
She said that the awareness was designed to encourage women to desist from engaging in election violence and contribute their quota towards the smooth victory of the all APC candidates in the elections.
The Apex women describing Tinubu as a detribalised Nigerian with the capacity to fix all the problems facing the country.
She enjoined all to come together and speak with one voice to make Badagry women attain a greater higher.
Speaking at event, the wife of the member Governing Advisory Committee, Lagos State, Mrs Arinola Ajose commended the efforts of women in the Badagry Federation and urged them to come out and vote for APC.
She appealed to them to caution their children to desist from any violence and any electioneering malpractice during the elections.
Ajose called on all Badagry women federation to ensure that they use their PVC to vote the APC in the elections from top to bottom in order to ensure sustainability of all the achievements.
“We must get involved in choosing the right leaders, your actions and inactions today will affect your destiny and that of your children tomorrow” she said.
Alhaja Dele Layode, the former Supervisor for Agriculture in Badagry Local Government called on the Women to shun any unfriendly attitude been going on between we women.
She said that Badagry women deserve a key positions in governance..
She urged to come out e-mass and vote Tinubu and re- elect Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the election on February 25 and March 11 respectfully.
In her remarks, the wife of the member house of representatives, Mrs. Elizabeth Hunpe enjoined the women to come out e-mass to perform their civic responsibility during the general elections.
She called on the women not to look down on anyone in reaching out to them in campaign from house to house.
The Publisher, De Voice magazine, Mr Ovi Kuponu sensitized them on voting procedures and used of ballot paper during the election.
He warned them to desist from anything that may bring chaos in any polling unit.
Kuponu called on them to obey the electoral act signed by the President.
