The candidate for the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu has declared that he will run an all inclusive government in attempt to create unity in the state.
This assertion was made to media practitioners in a brief chat shortly after casting his vote at Efut ward polling unit, Adiabo Okut Ikang, Odukpani Local Government Area of the state.
The likely winner of the Gubernatorial elections in the state also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for the smooth conduct of the elections without any reports of delay in the state except for the case of Bakassi Local Government Area where report indicate that the people who are scartered at different direction due to the resettlement issue because of the illegal ceding of the area to the Republic of Cameroon without good resettlement arrangements.
Prince Otu further explained that there will be unity within the political stakeholders of the state if he becomes the next governor of the state come may 29th, 2023.
On the long abandoned Calabar/Ikoneto Road in Odukpani Local Government Area, he promised that if wins today’s election, he will ensure that the road and many other roads in the state will be constructed for possible development of the area.
